PFC ROSENDO RODRIGUEZ
PFC ROSENDO BENITEZ RODRIGUEZ 38414169 US Army. He was born March 10, 1923. He was the husband of Mrs. A. V. Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas. He entered the service on Jan. 28, 1943, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 19. He trained at Keesler Field, Miss. He arrived in the ETO on Feb. 19, 1945. He arrived in C Company, 253rd Infantry Regiment, 63rd Infantry Division on March 9, 1945. On April 6, 1945 near the town of Kressbach he was seriously wounded in action from a rifle wound to the scrotum he was taken to the 54th field hospitable. He left the ETO on Dec. 9, 1945. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, The American Theater of operations, the European Theater of Operations Medal ETO with 2 battle star for Rhineland, and Central Europe, the World War Two Victory Medal, and the Army of Occupation Medal. He was discharged on Dec. 21 1945.
