PFC Thomas R. McNamara 32211106 US Army. His address when he entered the US Army was 53 Foster Ave., Whiteboro, N. Y. He served in combat with F Company 398th Infantry Regiment 100th Infantry Division. With F Company he earned the Bronze Star medal for Valor and the Combat Infantry Badge. He was also wounded in action in France and earned the Purple Heart Medal. On June 24, 1945 he transferred in to G company, 254th Infantry Regiment, 63rd Infantry Division from the 100th Infantry Division. On July 27, 1945 he transferred into CN Company, 254th Infantry Regiment. He was probably transferred because the 63rd Division was slatted to go home before the 100th Division.
