Radioman 2nd Class Maryon Earle Gribble 5541308 US Navy. He was born on April 14, 1903, in Middletown, Ohio. He was the son of Walter Llewelyn Gribble and Genevieve Genesee Warwick Gribble. He was the brother of Jesse Walter Gribble KIA, 1st Lt. Helen Elizabeth Gribble, and brother in law of of Captain Cledith William Bourdeau DSC and Calease Patrick Bourdeau He enlisted on September 22, 1942 in Moise Idaho at the age 39. He served 31 months in the United States Navy during World War Two. He served in North Africa and Sicily on the USS Lyon, and USS Merak AF 21. He was awarded the The American Theater of operations Medal, The European African Middle Eastern Theater of operations Medal with battle stars, and the World War Two Victory Medal. He married on February 19, 1938, in Chelan, Washington. He died on October 15, 1997, in Gooding, Idaho, at the age of 94.
