1st Lt. Helen Elizabeth Gribble N737806

1st Lt. Helen Elizabeth Gribble N737806 US Army. She Was born on December 1, 1918 in Hagerman Idaho. She was the daughter of Walter Llewelyn Gribble and Genevieve Genesee Warwick Gribble, she was the sister of Jesse Walter Gribble KIA and Maryon Earle Gribble, and sister in law of Calease Patrick Bourdeau. She married Captain Cledith William Bourdeau DSC on December 29, 1945. She entered the US Army on November 10, 1942 at the age of 23. She served in 1972 SCU, and Letterman General Hospital in the PTO, she was discharged on January 30 1946. She was awarded The American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal (PTO), and the World War Two Victory Medal. She and Cledith had five children during their marriage. She died on April 28, 2006, in Incline Village, Nevada, at the age of 87.
