Pfc. Coy R. Brown

Pfc. Coy R. Brown, US Army. He was the son of Mrs. Ruthie J. Brown Gilmer, husband of Perry D. Collier, and brother of S 2/ c Roy Brown, S 2/ c Horace Brown. Coy attended New Mt. School. Entered Army in 1942, trained in New Orleans, La. Served in Alaska, France, and England. Awarded The PTO Campaign Ribbon, The ETO Campaign Ribbon with 2 Battle Stars, GC Medal, American Theater and Victory Ribbons. He was discharged in 1945.
