ROBERT M. PECK
ROBERT M. PECK United States Navy. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Roland Peck, of 201 Albany Avenue, Shreveport. He was born July 4, 1926, and attended Broadmoor School and St. John’s High School, entering the United States Naval Reserve on May 29, 1944, in Shreveport Louisiana, at the age of 17. He was assigned for training and staging to Camp Wallace, Texas, Camp Elliott, California, the U. S. Navy Yard at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the U. S. Naval Repair Base at New Orleans, the U. S. Naval Receiving Station at Norfolk, Virginia, and Camp Shoemaker, California. On September 15, 1944, he embarked for sea duty, going to Cuba, Mexico, and Panama. He has the Asiatic Pacific Theater (PTO) Ribbon, the American Theater of Operations Ribbon, and World War Two Victory Medal, and was continuing to serve with the United States Naval Reserve. He is also the brother of Chief Warrant Officer CHARLES ROLAND PECK, Warrant Officer HARRY ANTHONY PECK, Sergeant JOHN HOWARD PECK, and EDWARD MELVILLE PECK.
