S/ Sgt. W. H. Wallace, US Army. He was the son of son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wallace, and brother of Pfc. Fred G. Wallace, Jr.,T/ Sgt. John H. Wallace. W. H. was the husband of the former Lonzie V. Dickson. He attended Dunbar School; and he entered the Army in Oct., 1942, trained in Camp Swift, Texas and Camp Claiborne, La.; served in Britain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland and Germany ETO; He was honorably discharged. Awarded EAME Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal.
