Sergeant Howard S Logan 35546408 US Army. He was born on June 13, 1923, in Galion, Ohio, the son of Jay W Logan and Marie Ellen Shaffer Logan of 222 E Summit Galion, Ohio. He graduated from Galion High School. He married Donna Mae Christman on November 1, 1947, in Kentucky. He entered the Army Air Corps on February 10, 1943 at the age of 19. He was transferred to the US Army Infantry and served in combat with I Company, 253rd Infantry Regiment, 63rd Infantry Division. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, the Bronze Stare Medal, The American Theater of operations Medal, the European Theater of Operations Medal ETO with 2 battle star, The Good Conduct Medal, and the World War Two Victory Medal. He died on September 22, 2015, at the age of 92.
