T/5 Marion Lee Brown 34722692 US Army. He was born on May 18, 1923. Before entering the army he was working for Webbs Tourist Court. He entered the US Army on February 19, 1943, at the age of 19. At the time of his enlistment he was 5 foot 6 inches tall weighed 140 Pounds had brown Hair and Brown Eyes. He entered Fox Company, 253rd Infantry regiment 63rd Infantry Division, on June 6, 1944. He served in 4th Platoon and Headquarters Platoon. He received a gunshot wound to the kneecap on April 16, 1945 he was taken to the 112th Evac Hosp. He was Awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, The American Theater of operations, the European Theater of Operations Medal ETO with 2 battle star, the World War Two Victory Medal, and the Army of Occupation Medal. He was discharged on December 10, 1945. He was the husband of Margaret Brown of 11534 Woodrow Wilson St Apt. 301 Detroit Michigan. He died on September 27, 1957 at the age of 34, he is buried at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
