CWT Elbert L. Barbee

CWT Elbert L. Barbee, US Navy. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Barbee, husband of the former CWT Rose Donaldson. He was the brother of Raymond D. Barbee, CQM Delbert F. Barbee, and brother in law of S/Sgt. Jack L. Donaldson KIA. Elbert graduated from Gothenburg, Nebraska School. He entered Navy in Aug., 1940 ; trained in San Diego, Calif. and Newport News, Va. ; served in Hawaii, the Philippines, Netherlands East Indies and Australia PTO.
