CQM Delbert F. Barbee US Navy. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Barbee, and the husband of the former Rose E. Cleary, and brother of CWT Elbert L. Barbee, Raymond D. Barbee, and brother in law of S/Sgt. Jack L. Donaldson KIA, and CWT Rose Donaldson Barbee. He was a graduated from Gothenburg High School, Nebraska. He entered the Navy in Aug., 1940; trained in San Diego, Calif. and served at St. Marie, Mich.; served in Hawaii, New Guinea, the. Philippines, Netherland East Indies and Australia; awarded Asiatic Pacific and Philippine Liberation Ribbons with three Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.
