He was born August 20, 1925, the son of Laton Levi Fogelsonger, Beulah May Parsons Fogelsonger of 306 South Chilson, Bay City Michigan, and the brother of Private Elmer E. Fogelsonger 36569159. Private Donald L Fogelsonger served in the 231st Field Artillery Battalion, 6th Armored Division. He was Killed in Action on January 2, 1945, at the age of 24. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal, The American Theater of operations Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater of operations Medal, World War Two Victory Medal.
