S /Sgt. Martha I. Vaillancourt, US Army WAC. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dollahon, of Andice, Texas. She attended Andice High School. She entered the WAC, in 1943, and trained in Arkansas, Kentucky, and Georgia. She served in Australia, New Guinea and Philippines. She was awarded the WAC Medal, The American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal (PTO), The Good Conduct Medal, and the World War Two Victory Medal. Dist. Unit Badge with 2 OLC, Phil. Lib., 1 Bronze Star. She was discharged in 1945.
