He was married to Vernetta Rosalie Thompson. He entered the US Army on October 20, 1942 at the age of 20. At the time of his enlistment he was 6 foot 1 inches tall he weighed 171 Pounds he had Blue eyes and Brown hair, and he was working at Horace Cooper.

Jezierski 36736817 KIA were transferred from the 71st Replacement Bn to E Company 253rd Infantry Regiment, 63rd Infantry Division. He died on August 1, 1998, in Kirksville, Missouri, at the age of 76, and was buried in Missouri. He was awarded the Bronze Stare Medal, The American Theater of operations Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater of operations Medal the World War Two Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, and the Combat Infantry Badge,
