Captain Margaret A. Richey

Captain Margaret A. Richey US Army Air Corps flight nurse WAC. She was the daughter of Mrs. Evie Richey, of Georgetown Texas. She was a graduate of Hendrix Memorial Hospital, of Abilene. She entered the Army in 1941, trained at Bowman Field, Ky., flight nurse course. She served in the South Pacific, Solomon Campaign and the United States. She was awarded the Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, The American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal (PTO), and the World War Two Victory Medal and flight nurse wings.
