Lieutenant JG, TEDDY R. PAYNE U. S. Navy. Born June, 1913. Entered service January. 5, 1932, at the age of 19. He served at, Great Lakes, Illinois; Europe (ETO); Pacific Theater (PTO). Awarded ten Battle Stars, Good Conduct Medal. Attended Middletown High School Ohio. He is a Protestant. Brother of Private first class, BUD W. PAYNE, and Sergeant THOMAS M. SPENCER. Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Payne, of Box 89, Martin, Kentucky. Husband of Mrs. Ella Payne, of Newport News, Virginia
