Private First Class Harvey R Manor 38284537 US Army KIA. He was born on November 28, 1921, the son of Mrs. Ina Manor, and the cousin of Sgt. Harvey W. Webb. He attended school at New Pulp. He entered the Army November 30, 1942, at the age of 21 in Dallas Texas. He trained in the Infantry at Camp Walters Texas, and Greenville, Pennsylvania. He served in Company B, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, in North Africa, Sicily, and England. Was Killed in Action in France on June 15, 1944, at the age of 22.  He was awarded the Silver Star Medal (SSM), the Purple Heart Medal (PHM), The Combat Infantry Badge (CIB), The American Campaign Medal, European theater of operations Medal with Battle Stars, and the World War Two Victory Medal. His Body was returned to the United states in 1949.
