Sergeant JACK R. KELLEY, US Army. Brother of Private First Class Bose FRANK KELLEY, JR. KIA Lieutenant WILLIAM GEORGE KELLEY KIA, Private EDGAR REW KELLEY KIA. Husband of Johnnie Belle Cox Kelley and son of Mr. and Mrs. Bose Frank Kelley, 2920 Hardy Street, Shreveport Louisiana. He was born February 10, 1914, and attended Queensboro and Fair Park High Schools. He was with Davidson Dental Supplies prior to entering the Army of the United States in the Medical Corps on April 7, 1941, at Camp Livingston at the age of 27. Sergeant Kelley received training with the Medical Corps at Camp Barkeley, Texas, and did hospital office work there and at Camp Carson, Colorado, and Harmon General Hospital, Longview, Texas. He has the Good Conduct Medal, the American Defense Service Medal, and the American Theater of Operations Ribbon. He was granted his honorable discharge at Camp Fannin, Texas, on December 3, 1945.
