Cpl. R. D. Harris

Cpl. R. D. Harris, USMC. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cass, Mitchell. He graduated from Valley View High School. He entered the Marines in 1940 trained at Camp Lejeune, N. C. Served in Hawaii, Marshalls and Ellis Islands. He was awarded the PTO Ribbon with 1 Battle Star. He was discharged in 1946.
