Pfc ERNEST EUGENE FLINNER 13090179

Pfc. Ernest Eugene Flinner 13090179, U.S. Army. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Flinner, 415 Brandon street, Greensbure Pennsylvania. He was inducted into the U.S. Army, on August 21, 1943. Trained at Ft. Benning, assigned to Company L, 397th Infantry, 100th Infantry Division, as light gunner at Ft. Braga. Served in European starting in October 1944, He earned the Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Good Conduct Medal, and Bronze Star Medal. He was discharged September 18, 1945.
