PFC Willie Freeman Field,

PFC Willie Freeman Field, US Army. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Field, of Valley View, Texas. He attended Valley View High. He entered the US Army, in 1942, Trained at Camp Claiborne, La. Served in England, France and Belgium. Awarded ETO Ribbon with 4 Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal. He was discharged in 1945.
