Std. 1/ c Hilton Farmer, US Navy. He was the son of Mrs. Rilla Farmer, and the brother of T/4 Rubin D. Farmer. Hilton was a graduated of Yateh High. He entered the Navy in 1944, trained at Bainbridge, Md., Norfolk ,Va., Charleston, S. C. He served in Leyte, Guam, le Shima, Okinawa. He was awarded Navy Commendation Medal, The PTO Campaign Ribbon with 3 Battle Stars, the Phil. Lib. Ribbon with 1 Star, Amer. Theater and Victory Medal.
