Cpl. Alfred I. Edwards, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ike Edwards, Georgetown Texas, husband of Eva Harris. He was also the brother of Cpl. James W. Edwards, SC 1 /c Ford Odell Edwards, and brother in law of Y 2/c Alyce Faye Edwards, Wave. Alfred attended Georgetown High. Entered Army Air Corps in 1942, trained at Kelley Field, Texas. Served in Pacific—Guam. Awarded Bronze Star, Amer. Theater and Asiatic Pacific Ribbons, Good Conduct Medal. Discharged in 1945
