Private First Class, CHARLES F. GLASS 34776963, US Army KIA. He was born on July 6, 1924, the son of William P Glass, Virgie Glass of Kannapolis, North Carolina entered service July 1, 1943 at the age of 18. He left for foreign service on October 15, 1944. He fought with the 310th Infantry Regiment78th Infantry Division, 1st Army. He fought in the German breakthrough during Christmas season 1944 (battle of the bulge) before being accidentally killed in Germany on April 19, 1945, at the age of 20.
