He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Castle, and the brother of S 2/ c John Raymond Castle, of Gilmer, Texas and husband of Mae Ella Morris, he attended Valley View School. He entered the Army in 1942, trained at Camp Wolters. Served in Okinawa. Awarded PTO Campaign Ribbon.
