Captain THEODORE F. BRYSON 18072891, U. S. Army. Husband of Marjorie Boyett Bryson and son of Mrs. Bernard G. Bryson, 1618 Templeman St., Shreveport Louisiana. Brother of Captain BERNARD G. BRYSON, JR. and Private First Class MASON LEE BRYSON. He received his B.S. degree at Texas A. & M. College, 1943, and entered the Army of the United States in the Field Artillery Corps at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, March 23, 1943 around the age of 22. He attended Officer Candidate School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and remained there as an instructor. At Camp Howze, Texas, he served with the 103rd Infantry Division as a forward observer. At Camp Bowie he served as FO with the 45th Division’s 160th FA Battalion, and at Camp Swift, Texas, as executive officer with the 2nd Division’s 15th FA Battalion. At Fort Lewis, Washington, he served in the same capacity. Captain Bryson embarked for Marseilles October 14, 1944, and was in Italy, France, Germany, and Austria, as forward observer and air observer. He served in the campaigns of the Rhineland and Central Germany (ETO), and has the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. Honorably discharged May 3, 1946.
