Captain BERNARD G. BRYSON, JR. 38184859

Captain BERNARD G. BRYSON, JR. 38184859, U. S. Army. Husband of Mrs. Bessie M. Bryson and father of Bernard G. Bryson III and Jerrell J. Bryson. Brother of Captain THEODORE F. BRYSON and Private First Class MASON LEE BRYSON. He was born May 14, 1917, the son of Mrs. Bernard Bryson and the late Mr. Bryson, of 1618 Templeman St., Shreveport, and attended Texas A. & M. College, practicing as a veterinarian. On July 8, 1942, at the age of 25. He entered the Army of the United States in the Veterinary Corps and went from Camp Livingston and Camp Beauregard to Camp Barkeley, Texas. He served as assistant depot veterinarian at Fort Worth Quartermaster Depot until receiving his honorable discharge and entering the Officers’ Reserve Corps March 8, 1946, at Camp Shelby, after almost four years of service.
