Pvt. Dewey C. Blackman

Pvt. Dewey C. Blackman USMC. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C; Blackman, Jarrell Texas. He was also the brother of Pvt. Ethel N. Blackman, T/4 Shelby Blackman, Pfc. Ollie Blackman. Dewey attended Jarrell High School. He entered the Marines in 1944, he trained at Parris Island, S.C. Served on Iwo Jima and in Japan.
