First Armored Division – Old Ironsides

The 1st Armored Division served for 360 days in Combat in the European African Middle Eastern Theater; during this time they served in the campaigns of  TUNISIA, NAPLES-FOGGIA, ROME-ARNO, SOUTHERN FRANCE, NORTH APENNINES, and PO VALLEY.
