Pfc. James O. Dixon

Pfc. James O. Dixon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dixon, and the brother of Sgt. Rayburn L. Dixon, US Army of Prescott, Ark., James entered the Army in 1942, he training at Camp Wheeler, Ga., later serving at Bougainville, Guadalcanal, New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Netherlands, E. Indies. Australia PTO. Was wounded in action on New Guinea. Was awarded four Battle Stars and the Purple Heart Medal.
