Pfc. James D. Burton,

Pfc. James D. Burton, US Army. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lem Burton, Prescott, Ark. He attended Blevins Training School. He entering the Army in 1943. Trained at Seattle, Washington, later serving in the Hawaiian Islands. As of 1946 he was on duty in the West Pacific. He was awarded the The American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal (PTO), Army of Occupation Medal,  and the World War Two Victory Medal.
