Sergeant Jack Hogop Zarifian 31409696 US Army. He was born on November 9, 1925, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was the son of Albert Zarifian and Sophie Zarifian. He entered the US Army on January 10, 1944 at the age of 18. At the time of his enlistment he was 5 foot 7 inches tall weighed 185 pounds had Black hair and Brown Eyes. He entered 1st Platoon, G Company253rd Infantry Regiment63rd Infantry Division on July 10, 1944. He was Killed in Action on April 6, 1945 at Buchhof he was still listed as Missing in Action until he was accounted for May 10, 2024 .

He was awarded the Bronze Stare Medal with oak leaf cluster, The Purple Heart Medal, The American Theater of operations Medal, The European African Middle Eastern Theater of operations Medalthe World War Two Victory Medal,  and the Combat Infantry Badge.
