Staff Sergeant Cloyd F. Sutton 36701364  US Army KIA. He was from Peru Illinois He was Killed in Action on October 28, 1944, on Leyte. He served in combat with Antitank Company, 382nd Infantry Regiment, 96th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, The Soldier’s Medal, The Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart Medal, The American Theater of operations Medal, The Asiatic Pacific Theater of operations, World War Two Victory Medal, and the Philippine Liberation Medal.
