Staff Sergeant Stanley P. Lazarowicz 36831112 US Army. He was born on January 12, 1924 in Herrin, Illinois, the son of Joesph of Sophie. He enlisted in the US Army on September 6, 1943 at the age of 19.  He entered Company D, 254th Infantry Division, 63rd Infantry Division, on September 15, 1943. He served with D Company in combat. He was wounded in Action on March 17, 1945. He was discharged from the Army on April 17, 1946. He married Sophia Hammond on September 24, 1951. He died on September 6, 1987 at the age of 63. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal (PHM), the american campaign medal European theater of operations Medal and the World War Two Victory Medal.
