Sgt. Monroe E. Zieschang,

Sgt. Monroe E. Zieschang, US Army. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Zieschang, and the brother of 2nd Lt. Irene Zieschang and Pvt. Gilbert H. Zieschang, of Thrall, Texas. Monroe graduate from Thrall High School. He entered the Army Air Corps in, 1942, trained at Brooksfield, Texas. He served  in the USA, and was discharged in 1945.
