Captain GEORGE H. WRIGHT

Captain GEORGE H. WRIGHT, U. S. Army. Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Wright, Fouke, Arkansas. He was born July 4, 1913, and received his education at Louisiana State University and Louisiana State University Medical School. Inducted October 30, 1942, at the age of 29. He received his training at O. T. S., Miami Beach, Florida; Hamilton Field, California, and Pendleton, Oregon. On January 2, 1944, he embarked for the European area (ETO) where he served with the 731st Bomb Squadron, 452nd Bomb Group, as Squadron Flight Surgeon. Captain Wright has the European Theater of Operations (ETO) Medal with six battle stars. He was honorably discharged September 30, 1945, at Tucson, Arizona. He is the husband of Clara R. Wright, and the father of Judy Kay Wright, 225 Atlantic Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana.
