USS Lionfish (SS-298)
The USS Lionfish (SS-298), was a Balao-class submarine. The USS Lionfish was Launched on November 7, 1943 Commissioned November 1 1944, Decommissioned January 16, 1946 and Recommissioned January 31 1951. During World War Two the USS Lionfish took part in Two patrol in the Pacific. The Ship earned the Pacific Campaign Medal, and the World War Two Victory Medal.
