2 Lt Earl Claude STURM 0-557144

Colonel Earl Claude STURM O-557144 was born on July 22, 1924 in Burbank, Oklahoma to Earl and Odessa Schofield Sturm. He graduated from Oklaunion High School in 1941. he attended Oklahoma A&M University. He served in the Service Company 253rd Infantry regiment 63rd Infantry Division, and the 3rd Battalion Headquarters Company 253rd Infantry regiment 63rd Infantry Division. After World War Twp he stayed in the US Army and served in combat; with Company E, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, during the Korean War. He retired from the US Army in 1971 at the rank of Colonel. He died on August 28, 2012.
