Private First Class Jesse Sterling 39298538 US Army KIA. He is the son of Albert Sterling and Paralee Sterling, of 1508 Harrison, Waco, Texas. Jesse Sterling, was born in 1913 and attended Moore High. He entered the us army, in 1941, around the age of 28, and trained in California. He served in France with the 388th quartermaster truck company, he was wounded in France in 1945 and died of his wounds on November 19, 1945. He earned Purple Heart Medal (PHM), European Theater of Operations (ETO) Medal, the American Campaign Medal, and the World War Two Victory Medal.
