PFC Alvin W. Rucker, US Army. He was the nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Ranson, of Taylor Texas. He attended Hawkins Texas Jarris College. He entered the Army, in 1942, and trained at Fort Sam Houston. He served in Solomons and Luzon. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the World War Two Victory Medal, ATO, PTO with 2 Battle Stars, and Phil. Lib., with 2 Stars, Ribbons. She was discharged in 1946.
