Sergeant William E. Price 18109226
Sergeant William E. Price 18109226 Army Air Corps KIA. He was born February 22, 1922, in Empire City, Oklahoma, the son of Dot and Mamie Price, and brother of Ensign Frank A. Price, Private First Class, Jack R. Price. William attended White Oak High School and NTSTC North Texas State College UNT University of North Texas, in Denton. He entered the Air Corps, June 30, 1942, trained at Salt Lake City Utah, Ellington Field, Texas and Blythe, California; served in England, where he served in the 7th bomb squadron 34th bomb group, 8th Air Force. He was killed in action on June 6, 1944, at the age of 22. His body was returned to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in 1948.
