Sergeant, HAROLD PRATER 35508203 KIA U. S. Army. Born September 27, 1921. Entered service Oct. 26, 1942, at the age of 21. He served at Fort McClellan, Alabama; Pacific. Killed in action on Luzon on February 25, 1945 at the age of 23. He served in the 7th Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division Attended Whitewood High School. He is a Protestant. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Lonzo Prater, of Woodman, Kentucky. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal (PHM), the American Theater of operations Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Theater of operations Medal, the World War Two Victory Medal
