Private Jack O. Palmer 16104563 US Army KIA. He was born in 1919, the son of Omar F. Palmer and Anna Enters Palmer, of 14245 Glastonbury Detroit Michigan. He was Killed in Action on October 25, 1944, at the age of 25 on Leyte. He served in combat with Medical Detachment, 382nd Infantry Regiment, 96th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Combat Medical Badge (CMB),Silver Star Medal (SSM), The Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart Medal, The American Theater of operations Medal, The Asiatic Pacific Theater of operations, World War Two Victory Medal, and the Philippine Liberation Medal.
