S/Sgt. Wilson A. Nelson US Army. He was the son of Rev. J. S. Nelson, Taylor Texas, husband of Charles E. Harrell, he graduated of Blackshear High School. He entered the Army in 1943, he trained at Fort Sam Houston and Cainp Claiborne, La. Served in France and Rhineland. He was awarded the Eto Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct medal and Victory Ribbons. He was discharged in 1946.
