Navy Occupation Service Medal

  

 

The Navy Occupation Service Medal was award to United States Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard personnel who participated in the occupation of certain territories in Europe and Asian that was the enemies of the U.S. during World War Two. This medal was also bestowed to personnel who performed duty in West Berlin between 1945 and 1990. The Army of Occupation Medal is the equivalent of the Navy Occupation Service Medal.
