Cpl. Arbery Moore, US Army. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Moore, of Gilmer, Texas. He was the husband of Essie Smith. He attended Bruce High School. He entered the US Army in 1943, trained at Fort Sill, Okla., Louisiana and Texas. He served in the ETO. He was awarded the ETO Medal with 4 Battle Stars and the Good Conduct Ribbons. He, Re-enlisted for 3 years, in 1945.
