Sgt. Albert E Marcy 38628663

Sgt. Albert Eugene Marcy 38628663, US Army Air Corps. Albert was born on March 20, 1919, in Addison Texas. He was the son of A. E. Marcy (deceased and Mrs. Carry Callaway, of Addison, Texas. He received his education at Addison and Richardson High Schools. His wife, Mrs. Mozelle Marcy, lived in Addison, Texas. Before entering the service he was employed with the Continental Plant at Garland, Texas. He entered the service January 6, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 24. At the time of his enlistment he was 5 foot 11 inches tall weighed 172 pounds had brown hair and hazel eyes. He served in the Army Air Force and received his training at Sheppard Field, Texas., Burbank, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, for gunner, and for B-17 and B-29 at Harlingen, Texas. He was promoted to Corporal, January 1945, and to Sergeant in March, 1946. He received his discharge on May 6, 1946. He died on in October 2003 at the age of 84.
