Private First Class Neff David Malouff 37363926
Private First Class Neff David Malouff 37363926 US Army. Born 12 May 1918 in Capulin, Colorado. He attended La Jara and Capulin schools, and was a transportation worker prior to entering service on 15 May 1944, at the age of 26. He trained at Camp Robinson, Arkansas, and fought in France and Germany (ETO) with the 222nd Infantry, 42nd Division. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal (PHM) for wounds received on 12 January 1945 at Weisenburg, Germany, and eventually was transferred to McClaskey General Hospital in Temple, Texas. The son of Mrs. Julia Malouff of Capulin, he is married to Geneva Malouff, also of Capulin, and they have a daughter. He is also the brother of Private First Class John Malouff.
