Pfc. George L. Lewis

Pfc. George L. Lewis, US Army. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Almond Lewis, and brother of Pfc. Almond Aubrey Lewis of Gilmer, Texas. George attended Paul Quinn College. He entered the Army in 1942, he trained at Eglin Field, Fla. Served in England, France, Germany. Awarded the ETO Medal with 1 Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Ribbons. He was discharged in 1945.
