Marjorie M. Ray Johnson, She was born September 22, 1924, to Franklin Arthur Ray and Pearl Gentry Ray in Huckaby, Texas. Marjorie graduated Benjamin High School in Benjamin, TX. She graduated from Hardin Simmons with a degree in nursing. Marjorie was a cadet nurse, Registered Nurse (RN), in World War Two. She started her serves on September 6, 1944 at the age of 19 at Hendrick Memorial Hospital She married Staff Sgt. Carl J Johnson on December 16, 1948 in Abilene, Texas. She retired from nursing from Garland Memorial Hospital as head nurse in day surgery. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Garland. He died on August 20, 2017 in Garland, Texas, at the age of 92.
